A New Year!

Mom, Christmas 2014

We all seem to want to reflect on life at the end of the year and I must confess that I'm one of those that does that, too!  But this year end has been very different for me.  As 2014 ended and 2015 began, I was reminded that this past year was such a tremendous year for us:

                            no hospital stays,

                               very few doctor visits,
                                        no emergencies!

                     Praise the Lord!

Yes, Mom's breathing is worse and she is moving much, much slower, but she is still with us and that is a gift from the Lord!  I never thought I would have all of this time with her and to be so blessed!  The Lord has truly answered my prayers in making a way for this to happen and to give me such tremendous help and support from my husband.

I've heard our Pastor say often that he is blessed more than he deserves.  I am learning day by day that truth myself!  While we have no way of knowing what this new year holds, we know that whatever comes will be thru the hand of the Most High God, our Heavenly Father, who knows us and loves us unconditionally.  My prayer for myself is that I will respond to whatever He has for me in a way that glorifies our Lord.

Caregiver, may this year be a year of tremendous growth and blessing for you!  Remember that you are not alone in this journey. Stay on your knees and keep looking up!

     Shared in love,
                         Chris
